Opportunities for volunteering at the Plum Food Pantry are two-fold. On Tuesday mornings, volunteers set up tables for the weekly distribution, unload food delivery trucks, pack allotted groceries into bags for the scheduled clients, separate and bag fresh produce and bakery items. In the afternoons, volunteers assist in loading groceries into the clients’ cars and clean-up at the day’s end.

Because the Plum Food Pantry shares space with a pre-school on Tuesday mornings, it is necessary to get a background check. This can be done online.
